About this Gathering

Living in unprecedented times, we invite you into a journey of rediscovering what's been lost, reconnecting what’s been pulled apart, and remembering what we’ve forgotten as we cultivate community and leadership courage for times like these. In our nation’s capital, we will explore the Art of Hosting and Harvesting patterns and practices for living, leading, and being community to sustain and uplift us as individuals, and as part of a greater whole. Together, will explore the question: what needs our re-membering and attention in this moment and place we inhabit?

This gathering is for anyone who feels called by the invitation -- and who senses we need to move beyond our current ways of living and working, in service of shared life. Part of our intention is to cultivate the soil for our growing Art of Hosting community in the greater Washington D.C. area. It’s important this happens in close connection with the broader global AoH community, so we’re eager to have others join us whose work and lives may be rooted elsewhere but who feel connected to the people and work happening in D.C. these days.

Your hosting team for this AoH training is Dave Ellis, Jenny Hegland, Lindsey Keck, and Zarko Palankov, and Quanita Roberson.
